Parklea Farms Ltd., the two-time Master Breeder herd of Allan and Cindi Parke, Caledonia, Ont., was dispersed on October 13th at the farm for an average of $3147 (unofficial) on 107 head under the management of Brubacher Sales.

Top seller at $8100 was Ms Atwood Annmarie (Ex-91-2E), a 7-year-old “Atwood” who completes four generations of Excellents. Purchased by Bruce Johnson, London, Ont., she has records to 20,866 kg milk, 4.6% fat, 3.2% protein (363-450-359) and was due in February to “Unix”. She is from an Excellent-95-2E “Integrity” dam, followed by an Excellent-96-2E-GMD-DOM “Lincoln” grandam.

Parklea Doorman Arken (VG-87), a 3-year-old “Doorman” from the farm’s long-established Parklea Sheik Ava (Ex-2E-10*) family, was the second high seller at $7600 to John Gerber, Warren, Ont. Projected to 351-498-367% BCA in her current lactation and bred back to “Control”, she was from a Good Plus-84 “Terrason” dam, backed by two more Very Good dams.
